Haven't had much chance to blog it up over the weekend as I went to bonny wee Scotland.
Today however, after my call centre training (ugh), I did a bit more to my second page of The Pole children's book.
Still got to add maybe another character or two in the foreground to balance the layout.

The Pole Part 2
Today I have spent a bit more time on my book. Being the actual career that I want to go into, it is a big step.
So first of all I started to reconsider the cardboard. It seemed to have very little relevance/use. The characters seemed to stand out well enough by themselves. This was a relief as I was worried they would be lost within the heavely coloured backdrops.

I think this is working really well now; so I have started working on a second page.

Once I have these two pages finished I will print them both on a single A3 sheet at www.brighouseprints.com, print my manuscript, add the little mock book I have created, wrap it all up, spank it on the bottom, and send it off to Little Tiger Press. If they reject it then I will send it off to a couple of agencies.
